The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date for receiving online applications for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (UG) – 2022. The entrance test is conducted by the NTA for selection of students for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions. 

As per the latest circular of NTA, the last date of receiving application form has been extended till May 15, 2022 (up to 9 pm). Similarly, candidates can make payment of application fee till 15 May, 2022 (up to 11:50 pm).

The NTA said the last date has been extended after the Director General, Armed Forces Medical Services has decided to use the scores of NEET (UG) for the selection of female candidates for admission to the B.Sc. (Nursing) course 2022 at the colleges of the Nursing of the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS).

The NEET UG scores will be used for admission in six nursing colleges of AFMS- College of Nursing, AFMC Pune, College of Nursing, CH (EC) Kolkata, College of Nursing, INHS Asvini, Mumbai, College of Nursing, AH (R&R) New Delhi, College of Nursing, CH (CC) Lucknow and College of Nursing, CH (AF) Bangalore. 

"In this regard, those candidates who want to take admission to B.Sc. (Nursing) Course 2022 at the abovementioned colleges are also required to apply for NEET (UG) – 2022 online through the website https://neet.nta.nic.in," said the NTA circular.

"In view of the above, the last date for receiving Online Applications for the National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test (UG) – 2022 for all the candidates has been extended," the circular added.
