The last date for submission of applications for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (UG)– 2022 has been extended again by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The NTA conducts the entrance test for selection of students for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions. 

In a circular released on May 15, the NTA said the last date of receiving application form has been extended till May 20, 2022 (up to 9 pm). Earlier, the deadline was May 15.  

As per the revised schedule, candidates can make payment of application fee till May 20, 2022 (up to 11:50 pm).

“In view of the request received from the Office of Director General Armed Forces Medical Services, it has been decided to further extend the last date for submission of Application Forms of NEET (UG) – 2022,” the NTA circular stated.

The NEET UG scores will be used for admission of female candidates for admission to the B.Sc. (Nursing) course 2022 in six nursing colleges of AFMS- College of Nursing, AFMC Pune, College of Nursing, CH (EC) Kolkata, College of Nursing, INHS Asvini, Mumbai, College of Nursing, AH (R&R) New Delhi, College of Nursing, CH (CC) Lucknow and College of Nursing, CH (AF) Bangalore.

“The female candidates who want to take admission to B.Sc. (Nursing) Course 2022 at the AFMS Institutions are also required to apply for NEET (UG) – 2022 online through the website https://neet.nta.nic.in,” the NTA circular said.
