Nekta Niyatendra Swasti Sravan Mishra has emerged as Odisha topper in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2021, announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Monday.

Mishra has secured 75th rank in the all India level medical entrance examination.

“I am elated after emerging as Odisha topper in the examination. I was totally focused on my preparation for the exam and was confident of performing well. I feel focus and concentration helped me achieve success,” said Mishra.

He also gave credit to the guidance of his teachers and parents' blessings for his feat.

This year, over 98,000 students have qualified as NEET cut-off marks have dropped from the previous year. The results have been sent to the candidates through their e-mails. NEET result along with the rank list and scorecards could also be downloaded from the official website using the application number and date of birth.

Notably, the entrance exam was rescheduled and conducted on September 12 at test centres across the country and abroad in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.
