The online application process for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2023 to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) has started.

The NCET 2023 will be conducted for admission to 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in selected Central/State University/Institutions including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges for the Academic Session 2023-24.

The test will be conducted in 178 cities and in 13 mediums across India in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for the Academic Session 2023-24. The last date for applying online is July 19, 2023.

Medium of Examination: The NCET 2023 will be conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

Scheme of Examination

Section 1 (Languages): There are 33 different languages. Any two languages need to be chosen. There will be 20 questions in Language 1 and Language 2 separately. All questions will be compulsory.

Section 2 (Domain-Specific Subjects): There are 26 domain-specific subjects being offered under this section. A candidate may choose any three subjects. Each domain-specific subject will have 25 questions. All questions will be compulsory.

Section 3 (General Test): This is a mandatory part. The general test will have 25 questions. All questions will be compulsory. Section 4 (Teaching Aptitude): This is a mandatory part. Teaching Aptitude will have 20 questions. All questions will be compulsory.
