The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) authorities on Tuesday announced the resumption of counselling process for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in different government and private medical colleges of the State for the session 2021-22.    

The online registration process for the preparation of State merit list of NEET (UG) 2021 will commence tomorrow (January 12, 2022), the OJEE chairman informed through a notice today. 

“Pursuant to the orders of the Supreme Court in the Writ Petition (C) No. 961 and others of 2021, the counselling process for admission to MBBS/BDS courses in different Government and Hi-Tech (Private) Medical Colleges of the State for the session 2021-22 will be resumed on the basis of NEET (UG) 2021 merit list following rules and regulation of the State Govt,” the notice read.

“The online registration process for preparation of state merit list will start from 12.01.2022,” it added.

The tentative schedule of registration, document verification and publication of State merit list has been made available on OJEE websites (www.ojee.nic.in/www.odishajee.com). 

As per the dateline, registration and online application, fee deposit, uploading of documents for online verification will be conducted between January 12 (12 pm) and January 18 (11.59 pm). Respond to query (if required, during online verification) will be made between January 12, 2022 to January 19, 2022 (5 pm) and reconciliation of data will be done on January 20.

The OJEE authorities will publish the provisional State Merit List of the registered candidates on January 24 (5 pm) while the window for receiving query, if any, raised by candidates regarding the provisional State Merit List will be remain active from January 25 to 26. 

The final State Merit List of the registered candidates will be published on January 27. 

Stating that the detailed schedule for choice filling and allotment of seats will be notified in due course of time, the OJEE authorities have asked candidates to keep in touch with its websites and Android App for latest information.
