The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha on Thursday announced the dates of the matriculation summative examination 2.

While addressing presser at BSE office in Cuttack, BSE President informed that the the summative examination 2 for class 10 high school students will start from March 10, 2022. The matric summative examination will continue till March 17.

The class 10 for madhayama and state open school certificate (SOSC) 2023 (first) will also be held simultaneously.

Similarly, the practicals for the vocation trade will start from February 15 to February 22, 2023. The practicals will be conducted by the external examiners who will be appointed by the Board.

The questions for all category of students including regular, madhayama and others will remain the same.

The examination centres and nodal centres which were fixed in summative examination 1 will be same for the summative assessment 2 examination.

The assessment of the summative 2 examination will be similar to the assessment done in summative examination 1.

As per BSE officials,  the formative assessment III have already been conducted by the third week of December 2022 at school level and formative assessment four is now continuing at schools and shall be completed by second week of February.

The marks of both formative assessment III and four will be uploaded by the respective mentor schools from February 15 to February 22, 2023.

Class 9 Schedule

The class 9 summative assessment II 2022-23 for high school and madhyama course will be conducted from February 20 to February 25.

The evaluation of answersheets will be done in neutral schools between February 22 to February 28, 2023.

Senior BSE Odisha officials said that the next academic session 2023-24 will be from April 2023 to March 2024.
