The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main-2023 will be conducted in two sessions, informed the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Thursday.

While the JEE Main Session 1 will be held in January 2023, Session 2 will be conducted in April 2023, the agency said.

The JEE Main will be conducted in 13 languages- English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali,Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

Meanwhile, the registration for JEE Main 2023 January session has begun. Candidates can apply for the same till January 12, 2023 (9 pm). The exams will be held on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2023.

Earlier this year, it was held in two sessions- first one was held between June 20 to June 29, 2022, and the result was declared on July 11, 2022. Similarly, the second session was held between July 21 and July 30, 2022, and the result was declared on August 8, 2022.

As per the pre-existing criteria, students who have passed Class 12 board exams in 2022, 2021 and those who will be appearing in 2023 are eligible for the Joint Entrance Examination.
