The National Testing Agency (NTA) has confirmed that it will not release the registration and exam dates of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and Advanced 2023 this week.

The schedule of JEE Main and Advanced 2023 is expected to be released this month, NTA Chief Vineet Joshi told the indianexpress.com while confirming that it will not be released this week.

“We will not release information about the schedule this week, it will be released soon,” the NTA Chief said.

As per reports, the entrance exam will take place in January and April next year. Once released, students can check the schedule at the official website, i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in.

The NTA is yet to announce whether the JEE Main 2023 will be conducted in one session or more, as in 2022, it was held in two sessions- first one was held between June 20 to June 29, 2022, and the result was declared on July 11, 2022. 

Similarly, the second session was held between July 21 and July 30, 2022, and the result was declared on August 8, 2022.

According to the pre-existing criteria, students who have passed Class 12 board exams in 2022, 2021 and those who will be appearing in 2023 are eligible for the Joint Entrance Examination.

How to register for JEE Main 2023, once the registration link in activated:

  • Visit the official website

  • Click on the registration link

  • Register yourself and fill the application form with proper credentials

  • Upload all the necessary documents

  • Pay the application fee

  • Click on submit to finish the registration process

  • Download the application form for future purpose
