The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Monday rescheduled the dates of the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2022 Session-I.

As per the notice, JEE Main has been rescheduled following demands by candidates as the previously announced dates clashed with their Board examinations.

“In view of the persistent demand from the student community and in their support, National Testing Agency has decided to reschedule the dates of JEE (Main) – 2022 Session-I,” the notice read.

Revised Schedule:  April 21, 24, 25, 29 and May 1 and May 4, 2022

Earlier Dates: April 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 2022

As per NTA, announcement regarding intimation of city will be made in the month of April and candidates can download admit cards from April second week.

“Candidates may please note that the correction in the particulars of the Online Application Form will not be allowed once the Application Form is submitted. Therefore the candidates have to be extremely careful,” the NTA notice added.

It is pertinent to mention here that the JEE Paper -I is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes - BE and B.Tech - at NITs, IIITs, other centrally-funded technical institutions, and institutions and universities funded and recognised by participating state governments.

It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Similarly, Paper-II is conducted for admission to B.Arch and B.Planning courses.
