JEE Advanced 2025 registration to begin on April 23: Check details of key dates, exam schedule, and AAT

IIT Kanpur will open JEE Advanced 2025 registration on April 23. Exam set for May 18, with AAT registration from June 2. Visit jeeadv.ac.in.

JEE Advanced 2025

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, which will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2025, will start registration for the examination from 10 am on April 23. Eligible candidates may apply through the official portal at jeeadv.ac.in. The application window will remain open until 11:59 pm on May 2, while the deadline for fee payment is set at 11:59 pm on May 5.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently conducted JEE (Main) 2025 Session-2 in April across India and 15 international cities. The exam, a prerequisite for JEE Advanced, was held on multiple dates with separate sessions for B.E./B. Tech, B. Arch, and B. Planning papers. 

Registration Dates for JEE Advanced 2025

  • JEE (Main) Qualified Candidates: Registration opens on April 23, 2025, at 10:00 IST and closes on May 2, 2025, at 23:59 IST.

  • Foreign Nationals, OCI/PIO Candidates: Registration opened on April 7, 2025, at 10:00 IST, and also closes on May 2, 2025, at 23:59 IST.

Fee Payment Deadline

The deadline for fee payment is May 5, 2025, at 23:59 IST.

Admit Card Download Period

Download Window: May 11, 2025, to May 18, 2025 (up to 14:30 IST).

JEE Advanced 2025 Exam Schedule

  • Exam Date: May 18, 2025

  • Paper 1: 09:00 IST – 12:00 IST

  • Paper 2: 14:30 IST – 17:30 IST

Answer Key and Results

  • Provisional Answer Key Release: May 26, 2025, at 10:00 IST

  • Feedback Period: May 26, 2025, to May 27, 2025, until 17:00 IST

  • Final Answer Key and Results Declaration: June 2, 2025, at 10:00 IST

Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2025

  • Registration: June 2 – 3, 2025

  • Exam Date: June 5, 2025, from 09:00 IST to 12:00 IST

  • Result Declaration: June 8, 2025, at 17:00 IST

Important Note for Foreign Nationals

Foreign nationals, including OCI/PIO candidates, are not required to appear for JEE (Main) 2025. They can directly register for JEE Advanced 2025, provided they meet other eligibility criteria.In addition, IIT Kanpur will open registration for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2025 on June 2, closing it on June 3. The AAT is scheduled for June 5, with results to be announced on June 8.

Application Fee:

The JEE Advanced 2025 application fee for Indian nationals is Rs 1,600 for female, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates. For all other applicants, the fee stands at Rs 3,200. For detailed information, candidates should visit the official website.

JEE (Advanced) 2025 will be administered by the seven Zonal Coordinating IITs under the Joint Admission Board (JAB) 2025. The examination performance will determine admissions into undergraduate programmes at IITs for the 2025-26 academic year.
