Amid the ongoing registration for the JEE Advanced 2021 exam, the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, has issued an important notice for OBC-NCL/EWS candidates.

The premier institute has directed the candidates to submit their OBC-NCL/EWS certificates by October 2, 2021, in the online portal. Candidates can check the details of the notice on the official site of JEE Advanced, jeeadv.ac.in.

Those not having a valid OBC-NCL/EWS certificate issued after April 1, 2021, will have to submit a declaration that can be found on the official website.

The registration process that commenced from September 15 will conclude on September 20 (5 pm). Candidates can register on the official site, jeeadv.ac.in.

The last date for fee payment for JEE Advanced 2021 is September 21 (5 pm). Candidates need to pay a fee of Rs 2800. However, females and reserved category candidates will have to pay Rs 1400.

IIT Kharagpur will be conducting the JEE Advanced 2021 exam on October 3, 2021. The exam is all set to be held in two shifts- first shift from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon (Paper-1) and second shift from 14:30 pm to 17:30 pm (Paper-2).

Meanwhile, the exam will not be conducted in any of the foreign centres/countries, in view of the prevailing pandemic situation due to COVID-19. The foreign national candidates may appear for the exam at any of the Indian centres of their choice at their own expenses while adhering to the Covid norms.
