India boasts numerous engineering colleges, with the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) standing out as some of the most prestigious.

Among them, IIT Goa, established in 2016, has made significant strides, particularly in campus placements.

According to a report by the Indian Express, for the BTech academic batch of 2019-2023, an impressive 99 percent of students secured successful placements.

This batch comprised 136 students, and out of the 105 registered BTech students, 104 received placement offers. 

The average package stood at Rs 17.19 LPA (Lakh per annum). 

IIT Placements

In Computer Science Engineering, 34 out of 45 registered students secured placements, and in Electrical Engineering, all 24 registered students found placements.

The trend continued across various disciplines, including BTech MnC, where all 19 registered students out of a batch of 25 secured placements.

In Mechanical Engineering, 27 out of 28 registered students successfully landed placements. 
The institute provided additional noteworthy information, revealing that six students secured international job offers from renowned companies.

The average CTC (Cost to Company) for B.Tech was Rs 17.19 lakh per annum, with the highest CTC reaching an impressive Rs 60 lakh per annum.
