Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has postponed the Term-End Examination (TEE) of December 2021 cycle in view of the rising cases of Covid-19 and the subsequent restrictions clamped in several parts of the country.

The IGNOU TEE December 2021 examination was scheduled to commence from January 20 and continue till February 23, 2022.

"Consequent upon the outburst and infectious growth of the new variant of coronavirus. i.e. Omicron and the weekend curfews in various parts of the country, the December 2021 Term-End Examinations of the Indira Gandhi National Open University scheduled to be held from 20th January 2022 to 23rd February 2022 have been postponed till further notification," the varsity said in an official release.

It further said that the next schedule of the examinations will be published on the University's website at least 15 days before the commencement of examinations.

Meanwhile, IGNOU has advised students to keep checking the varsity's website for examination related information and updates at frequent intervals.
