IGNOU revises time period for re-evaluation of answer copies, photocopies of answer scripts

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released an important notice regarding revision of time period for re-evaluation of answer copies and photocopies of answer scripts.

In its latest notification, IGNOU has informed that the Board of Management in its recent meeting has approved the change in the time period for the re-evaluation of answer copies and photocopies of answer scripts.

As per the revised timeline, now the candidates can apply for re-evaluation of answer scripts within 40 days from the date of declaration of results. Earlier, the deadline was 30 days. Similarly, the photocopies of answer scripts will be provided within 30 days of the publication of results against the prevised timeline of 45 days.

“The revision will come into effect from the Term-end examination, June 2023 onwards,” the notice read.

In another development, President of India Droupadi Murmu, today delivered the 36th Convocation Address at IGNOU.

The University conferred 2,79,917 degrees, diplomas, and certificates in the Convocation to the successful students. In her address, President Murmu said, “IGNOU has played a commendable role in promoting 'Access to Higher Education'. I am happy to know that out of the total students, about 50 percent of the students are from rural background, and of those 25 percent are women."
