IGNOU Admission Deadline For Jan 2022 Session Extended Till March 25, Check Details 

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced further extension of deadline for fresh admission into UG and PG courses for the January 2022 session.

The last date of fresh admission for PG and UG programmes for both online and Open Distance Learning (ODL) mode and re-registration for the January 22 session has been extended till March 25. 

Earlier, the admission deadline for January 2022 circle was extended till February 28 and further till March 5, 2022.
However, the varsity informed that extension of deadline is not applicable for semester-based and merit-based programmes. 

“Last date of Fresh Admission for PG/UG Program for both Online/ODL mode (except certificate, semester based & merit based Programs) & Re-registration for the Jan 22 Session has been extended till 25th March,” the varsity tweeted.

IGNOU is offering a range of academic programmes through online mode in the January 2022 session. These programmes are approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Candidates can apply for ODL programmes through https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in while the Online Programmes can be applied through https://ignouiop.samarth.edu.in. 

The last date for submission of application without late fee is now March 25, 2022. 

New Registration

For fresh registration, click on the button ‘New Registration’ that appears in the applicant login area and fill the required registration details. The User Name must be between 8 to 16 characters.

Registration fee, Cancellation of Admission and Refund of Fee

A non-refundable Registration Fee of Rs. 200/- (unless specified otherwise) shall be charged along with the programme fee of first semester/year at the time of admission.
