The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the ICSE class 10 and ISC class 12 results on Sunday.

Priyanka Parasar and Bishnu Satpathy have become Odisha toppers in ICSE. Similarly, Disha Goel has secured the top rank in ISC.

Priyanka and Bishnu have shared the top position by securing 99.40 percent. Similarly, Goel has secured 98.26 percent.

When contacted Priyanka over the phone for her reaction, she said, “I had solved pre-board papers of different schools with following strict examination conditions. I believe, this way time management can be better and the weak topics can be identified. Once identified, one can revise them.”

“I would also like to say that instead of trying to acquire new knowledge on the day before the board, one should revise the same knowledge. And I would also like to say that one should highlight the main points and go through them,” she added.

“Everyone has a different weak subject. My weak subject had been Physics. So gave it extra focus. And I had solved the papers of past ten years in strict examination conditions. I made it a point to finish my paper before 30 minutes,” she said.

Regarding time management, she said, “To be very frank, time table didn’t work for me so I didn’t have a fixed timetable. What I did is I set a target for a day and I tried to achieve the target.”

And, when asked about what contributed to her success, Disha said, “I had never expected that I would secure this position. When the results were announced, I couldn’t believe it.”

An exalted Disha further added, “The credit for my success goes to the God and then my family. My grandfather and parents would keep on motivating me. During my overnight study, my mother would remain awake for me. My teachers played a major role as for me, they were available round the clock. What worked for me is the consistent reading.”

Notably, in the ICSE 10th, a total of nine students have topped the final examination by securing 99.8 percent. Similarly, in the ISC 12th, a total of five students have secured 99.75 percent and secured the rank 1 position.
