ICSE, ISC board exams 2023: Know exam pattern, type of questions

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has released the specimen question papers for both ICSE and ISC board exams 2023.

Students of ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) set to appear for the board exams can go through the links given below to download the specimen papers.

Besides, students can also visit the official website of CISCE at cisce.org and download the specimen papers.

Students can solve the specimen papers to understand and subsequently prepare themselves as per the exam pattern and type of questions set to be asked in the board exams.

Meanwhile, CISCE has already announced that it will hold the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations only once unlike last year when it was conducted in two semesters due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“It has been decided by the CISCE to conduct only ONE EXAMINATION at the end of the Academic Year 2023 at both ICSE & ISC levels. The CISCE proposes to hold the said examinations tentatively in the months of February/ March 2023,” an official letter read.

The board has also announced that the Syllabus for the ICSE and ISC board exam 2023 would be revised in select subjects, and advised students to go through the revised syllabus available on the CISCE website under the ‘Publication Section’.

In the ISC 12th result 2022 announced this year by the board, the overall pass rate was 99.38 per cent with 99.26% boys and 99.52% girls clearing the exam.

In case of ICSE Class 10 board exam, the pass percentage was 99.97 percent with the girls (99.98% ) once again outperforming the boys (99.97%).
