Hailing from a small village in Bikaner, Rajasthan to becoming India’s one of the most loved IAS officers, the journey of IAS Pari Bishnoi is a glaring example of sheer dedication, consistency, and hard work. The talented IAS officer lived almost like a monk to fulfill her dream.

She had to quit all social media platforms and also stopped using mobile phone. Despite all the sacrifices, it took her three attempts to clear the UPSC exam. She missed by a few marks in her first two attempts. With her sheer determination and perseverance, she cracked India’s toughest exam in her third attempt with an impressive AIR-30.

Daughter of an advocate, and a police officer (mother), Pari pursued her school education at Ajmer St. Mary’s Convent School. She later moved to New Delhi to pursue her Bachelors from the Indraprastha College for Women, Delhi University. She then went on to pursue her post-graduation in political science from MDS University of Ajmer, reported News18.

Instead of looking for a good job after her post-graduation, she decided to focus on the UPSC exam and become an IAS officer. She deleted all her social media platforms and completely stopped using her phone during her preparation phase.

Her hard work paid off and she cleared the exam in her third attempt in 2019. Currently posted as the sub-divisional officer in Gangtok, Sikkim, Pari was an Assistant Secretary in the Indian government’s Ministry of Petroleum & Gas.

Recently, she was in the news for tying the knot with Bhavya Bishnoi, son of BJP leader Kuldeep Bishnoi and the grandson of former Haryana CM Bhajan Lal.
