Girls outshine boys in CHSE Odisha plus 2 examination; check Arts, Science, Commerce results

Girls outshone the boys in the annual class 12 or plus examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, the results of which were announced on Wednesday. 

While announcing the results, the School and Mass Education Department Minister, Nityanand Gond, informed that a total of 3,93,618 students had filled up forms for the CHSE plus 2 examination, and out of which 3,82,739 students had appeared in the examinations.

 A total of 3, 16, 787 students have passed the class 12 examinations. A total of 1, 42,516 boys and 1,74,251 girl students have cleared the examination.

The overall pass percent stands at 82.77 per cent. The pass percentage of male students is 77.88 percent while the pass percentage of girl students is 87.24 percent.
