GAT-B, BET 2024 exam on April 20; check fees, exam details and latest NTA notice

The online application process for the Graduate Aptitude Test- Biotechnology (GAT-B) / Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) – 2024 has already started. The aspirant candidates submit online applications till March 6, 2024. GAT-B/ BET 2024 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The Graduate Aptitude Test- Biotechnology (GAT-B)/ Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) is a national level entrance examination for admission to Department of Biotechnology supported Post Graduate Programme in Biotechnology and allied areas in participating Institutions (GAT-B) and for award of DBT – Junior Research Fellowship (DBT-JRF) for pursuing research in frontier areas of Biotechnology (BET).

Schedule

Duration of online registration and submission of online application form for GAT-B/BET-2024: 8 February to 6 March 2024

Correction in the particulars of application form online only: 8 March 2024 to 9 March 2024

Date of Examination for GAT-B/BET-2024: 20 April 2024 (Saturday)

Duration of Examination: 180 minutes (03 hours)

Mode of Examination: Computer Based Test (CBT) mode

Fees for GAT-B/BET – 2024

GAT-B: Rs 1200 for General (UR)/ OBC-(NCL)/ EWS and Rs 600 for SC/ST/PwD

BET: Rs 1200 for General (UR)/ OBC-(NCL)/ EWS and Rs 600 for SC/ST/PwD

GAT-B & BET (Both): Rs 2400 for General (UR)/ OBC-(NCL)/ EWS and Rs 1200 for SC/ST/PwD

Important Instructions

Candidates can apply for GAT-B/BET 2024 or both through “Online” mode only. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.

Multiple Application Forms submitted by a candidate will not be accepted under any circumstances, NTA said in its notice.
