Free UPSC coaching: Exam to be conducted offline in 5 zones in Odisha

The Odisha Higher Education Department (DHE) has released a notification sharing details regarding the scheme for the free Civil Services (UPSC) coaching to the candidates who are domiciles of Odisha.

As per the notification, the candidate must have attained the age of 21 and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the first day of February 2024. The minimum education qualification is graduation or any equivalent qualification.

A total of 200 aspirants will be selected through a pre-qualifying entrance examination. The entrance will be conducted by the State Selection Board, Higher Education Department. Around 33 percent of seats in each category will be reserved for women candidates.

Plan Of Exam:

The examination will be conducted in offline mode.

Centre of exam: The entrance examination will be conducted in each of the five regional directorates of education- Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Balasore, Jeypore and Sambalpur.

Availability of CAF: March 1

Last date to apply: April 2

Date of exam: May 5

Duration of coaching: Calendar months (Tentatively from June 2024 to April 2025)

Free coaching, accommodation and boarding will be provided to the selected candidates in Bhubaneswar.
