The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday announced extension of the last date for submission of online application forms for the Central Universities- Common Entrance Test (CU-CET) 2021. 

The CUCET 2021 for academic session 2021-22 will be conducted throughout the country on September 15, 16, 23 and 24, 2021 through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

According to a notification issued by NTA, the last date for submission of online forms has been extended up to September 5, 2021 (upto 11:50 pm). Applicants can make payment and correction in the particulars (online only) up to September 6. 

“The candidates are requested to undertake the correction(s) very carefully at the time when NTA opens the correction window, as no further chance of correction will be provided to the candidates,” the NTA notification read. 

The NTA has also added two more cities of Examination Centre- Port Blair (Andaman and Nicobar) and Kasaragod (Kerala) for CUCET 2021. 

“On the request from the various candidates and keeping in view the hardship faced by the candidates due to COVID19 epidemic, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to add 02 more Cities of Examination Centre for CU-CET 2021,” the agency stated. 

“Those candidates who have already submitted their application forms can edit the city of Examination Centre when the correction period is open. The NTA will make efforts to allot city of examination to the candidates as opted by them. Allotment of seat will be based on capacity and also if adequate number of candidates have opted for the city,” it added.

However, if very few students have opted for a test centre, a different city will be allotted based on the correspondence address given by the candidate in their Application Form, and the decision of the NTA regarding allotment of Centre City shall be final.
