CHSE instant exam 2025: Online applications begin, check timeline, fees and other details

The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has issued a notification regarding the conduct of the instant examination 2025 for the class 12 students in Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational streams.

As per the official notification, the online application process has started from today (May 28), and the students can submit their application till June 2, 2025.

Details

Date of online filing up of Examination Form in the H.S. Schools: 28.5.2025 to 2.6.2025

Date of deposit of examination fees by the H.S. School through SB Collect: 2.6.2025 to 3. 6.2O25

Fee Structure

For appearing in a non-practical subject: Rs 520

For appearing in a Practical /Project paper[except Biology): Rs 560

For appearing in the Biology subject: Rs 600

As per CHSE, the candidates who have paid additional Centre Charge at the time of Annual H.S. Examination, 2025, shall also have to pay additional Centre Charge of Rs 50 per candidate if they fill up examination forms for Instant Examination, 2025.
Candidates with benchmark disabilities are eligible for an examination fee waiver of  Rs. 165 (Examination fees) plus the Practical/Project Examination fees of Rs 40 per paper.

Eligibility

A Regular/ex-Regular candidate of Arts, Commerce, Science and Vocational Streams along with Distance Education who has secured mass mark in aggregate (210  marks), but failed in one compulsory, elective, trade paper is eligible to appear for the instant examination.

A candidate who has appeared in the AHS Examination-2025 as a Compartmental Candidate only in one paper, but has failed in that paper, is eligible to appear in the Instant Examination-2025 only in that failed paper.

A candidate, whose result has been withheld/cancelled for mass malpractice, shall not be eligible for Instant Examination 2025.
As per CHSE, the instant examination will be held on June 25 and June 26, 2025.
