Over 32 lakh students are eagerly waiting for the CBSE Term 2 result. While reports are making rounds that the Central Board of Secondary Education will announce the Class 10 and 12 results soon, an official confirmation is still awaited.

Amid the media reports that the Board will declare Class 10 and 12 results by July 10, Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Exams, CBSE has finally responded on the same while claiming that CBSE will 'protect the interest of its students'.

"The Board is on track to advance the schedule. UG admission schedule of different institutions are kept in mind and CBSE (is) in touch with the concerned authorities to protect the interest of its students," Bhardwaj told The Indian Express.

Meanwhile, CBSE has launched a ‘Pariksha Sangam’- a new digital initiative which will be a one-stop platform for board results. This platform, parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in, has three main sections- Schools (Ganga), Regional offices (Yamuna) and Head office (Saraswati).

On the other hand, recently, Class 10 and 12 students took to Twitter and started trending #BestOfEitherTermsSubjectWise. They demanded the CBSE to choose the best marks from their Term 1 and Term 2 results for the board results.

The students claimed that due to the pandemic, students didn't get any chance to have offline classes but still they appeared for the board exams and hence, implement 'best of either term subject-wise' in their interest.

"Board exam results counts at every stage of life& students of batch have not got the quality of education they deserve, which ultimately affected thier performance. Every student deserves an opportunity to bright future," wrote a Twitter user using the above-mentioned hashtag.
