The CBSE Term 2 exams for both class 10 and 12 students are currently underway amid the Covid-19 fear and heatwave conditions in several parts of the country. While the Board has taken all mesures to ensure safety of examinees, a student was recently seen appearing for the exam in PPE kit.

According to Times Now, the incident has been reported at a exam centre in Gurugram where a class 10 student was seen writing for the CBSE Class 10 Term 2 exam in PPE kit.

As per reports, the student had no symptoms but he was found positive for the virus when he got himself tested before appearing for the exam.

Subsequently, the officials concerned reportedly made all arrangements for the student so that he could appear for the crucial exam.

The student reportedly wrote the exam in a separate isolation room wearing a PPE kit. A separate invigilator was also deployed in the room donning a PPE kit.

It is pertinent to mention here that all the Covid-19 norms, which were implemented in the previous two examinations, are being strictly followed this time too.

Moreover, CBSE is paying Rs 5,000 to each examination centre for the purchase of Infrared Thermometer and also paying Rs 5 per candidate per day for sanitisation of school every day and for making arrangement of masks, sanitizer, soaps etc to ensure cleanliness at the examination premises.
