The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday announced the date sheet for the much awaited Term 2 examination of class 10 and 12 students, starting from April 26, 2022.
As per the decision, the exam timing for both the classes will be at 10:30 am and won't be conducted in two shifts.
While the class 10 examinations will begin from April 26 and will end on May 24, the class 12 term 2 examinations will commence from April 26 and will end on June 15.
While preparing the date sheet, the CBSE has taken care of several issues including learning losses due to closure of schools during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“More gap has been given between the two examinations in almost all the subjects for both the classes. Wherever the gap is a little lesser, those examination have been scheduled at a later date so that students can get sufficient time for preparing for these examination,” CBSE notice read.
The Board has stated that the date-sheet for the term 2 examination of class 10 and 12 students has been prepared keeping in mind the dates of competitive examinations including JEE Main.
“The date sheets have been prepared by avoiding nearly 35000 subjects' combinations to ensure that no two subjects' examinations of a student fall on the same date,” the notice added..
