On the other hand, recently, some Class 10 and 12 students along with some private schools urged the CBSE to slash the weightage of the Term I exam for the 2021-2022 session. They alleged that many schools adopted unfair means and malpractices while marking students during the Term 1 exams.

CBSE had earlier informed that the weightage of Term I and Term II exams will be decided at the time of declaration of Term II result and accordingly, the final performance will be calculated.
