CBSE Term 1 Results Update: Will Board Release Scorecards Today?

Students are demanding the cancellation of Term 2 exams and are requesting alternative assessment criteria. Some students have even moved to the Supreme Court and filed a plea in this regard. The petition will be heard by the apex court on February 21, 2022.

At a time when lakhs of Class 10, 12 students across India have been eagerly waiting for the results of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Term 1 Examination 2021, speculations are rife that the scorecards of the exam will be released by the board today i.e. February 20.

Although the CBSE Class 10 and 12 result date and time have not been announced yet by the board, an official had earlier hinted that the results for the same might be announced this week.

"There's a possibility of announcing the term 1 results for both classes 10, 12 this week. The board will announce the result date, once confirmed. The students are advised to follow the official websites only for updates on exams and results,” NDTV Education quoted as said by the CBSE official.

Therefore, as today is Sunday which is the last day of the week, it is being said that the CBSE might declare the Class 10, 12 Term 1 results today.

However, TimesNowNews.Com in a report claimed citing official sources of CBSE that the result will not be released today.

The media house further claimed that the Term 1 result date is not confirmed but it can be released tomorrow or within the coming week. However, there is no official confirmation on the result date.

The CBSE Term 1 board exams 2021 were conducted in November-December in objective type answer mode through OMR sheet.

Once the result is declared, students can get it on the official websites, cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in. Besides, they can also check the class 10, 12 terms 1 results in the DigiLocker app or its website, digilocker.gov.in.

On the other hand, CBSE has already announced that the term-2 exam will be held in offline mode from April 26.
