The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be releasing the roll numbers of Class 10 and Class 12 students for the CBSE Term 1 Exam 2021 on November 9.

Once released, the roll numbers of candidates will be uploaded on the official site of the board, cbse.gov.in, HT reported. The board will also release detailed guidelines for all functionaries on Tuesday. 

The first term board exams for class 10 will begin from November 30, while the exams for class 12 are scheduled from December 1. The exams for minor subjects for class 10 will be held from November 17 to December 7, while it will be conducted from November 16 to December 30 for class 12 students.

Students will get objective type questions in the exam and the duration of each paper will be 90 minutes. However, the Term-II exams, scheduled to be conducted from March to April 2022, will be of subjective/objective type. But, the type of examination will be decided considering the COVID-19 situation at the time of the exams.

This time, CBSE is offering 114 subjects in Class 12 and 75 in Class 10. If the exam of all subjects (189) is conducted, the entire duration of exams would elongate to about 45-50 days. So, to avoid the learning loss of students, the board has announced to conduct the exams of different subjects (mentioned below) by fixing date sheet across affiliated schools in India and abroad.
