The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date sheet for the minor subjects for the Term 1 Class 10 and 12 examinations.

As per the latest CBSE notification, the Class 10 Term-1 minor subject exam will begin on November 17 with painting as the first paper. It will end on December 7 with Arabic, Tibetan, French, German, Russian, Persian, Nepali, Limboo, Lepcha and Carnatic Music papers.

The Class 12 Term 1 minor subject exam will commence on November 16 with the Entrepreneurship and Beauty and Wellness paper and will end on December 30 with the Agriculture and Mass Media Studies, the notification reads.

CBSE further clarified that along with examinations of minor subjects of Class 10, the examinations of major subjects of Class 12 will also be conducted.

The duration of each paper of minor subjects will be as mentioned in Date Sheet and in Admit Card. The students will be allotted 20 minutes instead of 15 minutes for reading the subject paper.

Since its winter season, as per the CBSE, the exams will start at 11:30 AM instead of 10:30 AM. Earlier, the CBSE had released the major subjects date sheet for Class 10, 12 on October 18, 2021. All the date sheets can be downloaded from the official site of CBSE.

“ Other necessary information regarding the examination will be provided in the Admit Card and by the respective Schools. CBSE will also update Schools, candidates and parents on examination through various other modes from time to time,” the notification mentioned.

The ace board has also urged the candidates and parents not to believe the information in circulation on social media. “For authenticity of any information, always verify it on the CBSE website-www.cbse.nic.in,” the Board advised.
