The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to declare the Term 1 result of Class 12 students soon. The result, once announced, is likely to be uploaded on the Board's official website, cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in.

Students can also check the CBSE Class 12 Term 1 result, exams of which were conducted last year from December 1 to December 22 across the country, through SMS or on various official apps including Digilocker and Umang.

While the CBSE has already informed that it will not announce the results as pass or fail for the Term 1 exam, the final result will be published after Term 2 exams- scheduled to be conducted in April.

Meanwhile, students have once again vented out their anger over the 'delay' in the declaration of result. "CBSE should not delay the result announcement as it will create more confusion and students may not be able to give 100 per cent during preparation for the Term 2 exam," said a student.

"Delay in result has stressed us and it will have an impact on our performance. So, I urge the Board to announce the results without any further delay," said another student.

On the other hand, some students have demanded the Board to reduce the weightage of the Term 1 exam. Alleging massive malpractice during the Term 1 exam, a student said, "Please slash the Term 1 weightage and increase the Term 2 weightage to 70%."

"It's unfair... CBSE must consider our demand and reduce the weightage of Term 1 as most of the students cheated and got good marks," rued another student. However, many students see no point in making such demands.

As per CBSE, the Term 1 results will contain a minimum 50 per cent weightage in the final result and no student will be failed in either Class 10 or Class 12 Term 1 exam.
