The Central Board of Secondary Education has warned students about the circulation of a fake notice regarding the CBSE Class 12 result announcement date.
The Board on Tuesday took to Twitter and shared the photograph of the fake notice, which claimed that the results will be released latest by January 25, dated January 22, 2022.

As per CBSE, the Board has not released any such notice regarding the CBSE Class 12 result announcement date on any of its official websites, http://cbseresults.nic.in/, https://www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/cbse.html, or https://cbseacademic.nic.in/.
This apart, once the result is announced, students can also check the result by visiting DigiLocker app, UMANG app or results.gov.in.
CBSE is likely to release the Term 1 exam results soon. It is pertinent to mention here that the Board will not announce the results as pass or fail this year.
The Board has always advised students to follow the official website only for any update and not to fall prey to such fake news on social media.
On the other hand, earlier this month, the Supreme Court had struck down a condition specified in a clause in the CBSE's evaluation policy of June last year which stated that marks obtained in the later examination will be considered as final for assessing class 12 students.
The apex court was hearing a plea filed by 11 students who were declared passed in the original results by the CBSE on the basis of the evaluation policy of 30:30:40 and were subsequently allowed to appear in the improvement exams held in August-September last year.
