The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Saturday informed that it has started sending results of Class 12 Term 1 exam to schools directly. The Term 1 exam was conducted from December 1 to December 22 last year across the country.

Students can contact their respective schools to get the CBSE Class 12 Term 1 result. The online dispute redressal mechanism regarding Term 1 performance is now available for Class 12 students.

"Students can send disputes to their schools which can send combined disputes to CBSE till 31st March 2022. However disputes will be decided along with the verification schedule after the declaration of Term 2 results," said the Board.

The Term 2 exam of Class 12 will be conducted from April 26 and the final result will be released by CBSE after the second term exams are over. The Term 1 results will contain a minimum 50 per cent weightage in the final result.

However, several students recently demanded reduction in the weightage of the Term 1 result alleging massive malpractice during the exam.

Now, the CBSE has said something which will definitely pacify these students. The Board said, "The weightage of Term 1 and Term 2 in Class XII will be decided at the time of declaration of Term 2 result and the final performance will be calculated accordingly."

The Board further said, "The result of class 12 will be declared after Term 2 examinations. The Mark sheet cum passing certificate will be issued after Term 2 only."
