CBSE class 12 Board Exam schedule out: Week-wise study plan for 60 days

The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has officially announced the Class 12 board exam dates, set to begin on February 15, 2025, and end on April 4, 2025. With just two months remaining, students must adopt a disciplined, stream-specific week-by-week study plan to ensure they achieve outstanding results.

Weeks 1-2: Organize and Prioritize

The first step to acquiring good results in the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam is to analyze the syllabus and mark high-priority topics for core and elective subjects.

When students choose their stream in 11th grade, they become more familiar with the specific subjects and topics. Science students should prioritize Physics and Chemistry, while Commerce students should focus on Accountancy and Business Studies to strengthen their foundation in these key areas.

Allocate at least 7 to 9 hours daily for preparation, ensuring you distribute your time effectively across all subjects to maintain balanced progress.

Weeks 3-4: Strengthen Core Concepts

Focus on mastering core topics as they will carry the most weightage aiding to securing more marks.

Study the NCERT books thoroughly and emphasize critical areas as CBSE Board Exams are based on these books.

Solve the 'Sample Question Papers' and 'Question Banks' available on the CBSE website for each subject. These resources will help you identify weaker areas and pinpoint topics that require more attention. Additionally, they will familiarize you with the exam question pattern.

Set aside dedicated time each week to review your class notes, formulas, and any mistakes made while solving Sample Question Papers (SQP) or mock questions. This will help reinforce your learning and ensure continuous improvement.

Weeks 5-6: Application and Practice

It is recommended to attempt at least two mock tests each week to simulate real exam conditions and improve time management skills.

Practicing mock tests helps pinpoint areas of weakness. Focus on revisiting these topics and practice additional questions to reinforce your understanding.

After identifying gaps in your knowledge, discuss the challenging topics with your teachers and peers. Set aside dedicated time to work on these areas and strengthen your grasp on them.

Weeks 7-8: Begin Final Revision

Begin by revising high-weightage chapters in each subject to maximize your preparation. Ensure that you cover all topics in detail.

Solve complete question papers to build confidence and fine-tune your exam strategy, helping you manage time and improve accuracy.

Weeks 9-10: The Final Stretch

Focus exclusively on revising key concepts and taking mock tests. This will reinforce your understanding and improve exam readiness.

Make it a habit to go through your notes each day, ensuring that all important concepts remain fresh and clear in your mind.

Do not attempt to learn new material at this stage. Instead, concentrate on revising critical topics and reviewing them multiple times to ensure mastery.
Prioritize proper sleep and a balanced diet to keep your body and mind energized, ensuring you stay focused and perform at your best.

By adhering to this week-wise study plan, Class 12 students can effectively prepare for their board exams and achieve outstanding results.
