The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a notification related to the duration for class 10, 12 practical exams 2022.

In its notice, the CBSE has stated, “It has come to the notice that in Term II practical examinations, in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology etc, two practicals are to be performed in one and half hours duration.”

The Board further clarified that the time period for the conduct of two practicals in Term II examinations is three hours.

“All schools are directed to relieve their teachers as per the date fixed by other schools for the conduct of practical examinations. Non-relieving of teachers would be viewed seriously,” the CBSE notice read.

On February 24, the CBSE had issued guidelines for conducting practical examinations, project and internal assessment for the students of classes 10 and 12.

“The practical examinations/project/ internal assessment shall be conducted from March 2, 2022. The last date would be 10 days before the date of the last examination of respective classes. No extension will be considered by the Board,” the CBSE circular read.

The CBSE Term 2 exams will be held from April 26. In the exams, students will answer both objective and subjective type questions.
