In view of the Covid-19 pandemic situation, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is now gearing up for the smooth conduct of the Board examinations for Class 10 and 12 students next year.

The Board will launch a dedicated portal for the preparation of the list of candidates (LOC) for classes 10 and 12 and registration for classes 9 and 11.

“The CBSE is preparing for the launch of the portal for LOC for classes 10, 12 and registration of students of classes 9 and 11. Both the facilities will be available soon,” said CBSE in its latest circular.

As per official sources, the CBSE will be conducting two examinations: Term- 1 and Term- 2 examinations (year end exam) in the session 2021-22.

However, it is pertinent to mention here that this is being done as a one-time measure to address the issue of Covid-19 pandemic.

In a letter to Principals and head of institutions, Dr. Sanyam Bharadwaj, CBSE Controller of Examinations said that the Term-1 examination is proposed to be conducted in the month of November/ December 2021.

Similarly, the Term-2 (year end) examination in the month of March/ April 2022.
