CBSE board exams 2022-23: Latest circular on submission of list of students

In a letter to heads of institutions, the CBSE has informed that the activity of submission of data of eligible candidates through LOC will begin from June 16, 2022.

 The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a circular for its affiliated schools regarding submission of List of Candidates (LOC) for class 10 and 12 examinations 2022-23.

In a letter to heads of institutions, the CBSE has informed that the activity of submission of data of eligible candidates through LOC will begin from June 16, 2022.

The CBSE has categorically asked the schools to ensure timely submission of data of the candidates and correct entry of data as well.

“Only those students shall be allowed to appear for class 10 and 12 board examination in session 2022-23, whose names would be submitted through the online process of submission of LOC explained in the circular,” the CBSE circular read.

The CBSE has school principals t o convene meeting with persons/teachers assigned the responsibility to complete the LOC. Besides, the concerned school principals should ensure the following:

-Students sponsored are their own regular and bonafide students only.

-No bonafide students’ name is left unsponsored.

-Students are not from any unauthorised /unaffiliated schools.

-Students are regularly attending classes in their respective schools.

-Students are not registered with any other school education board in addition to CBSE.

-The students are eligible for appearing in Board’s examination for class 10 and 12 as per provisions of examination byelaws.

-Incase of students of class 12, it may be specifically ensured that the students have passed their class 10 examination from recognised school education board only.
