BSE Odisha Matric exam results by June end, says Minister

The results of the high school certificate (HSC) or the matriculation examination are likely to be announced by June end, said School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Saturday.

According to Dash, the evaluation of answer copies has already been completed and subsequent works have begun for the publication of the much-awaited results.

"Already the process for publication of the results has begun and we are planning to announce the matriculation exam results by this month-end," said Dash.

The matriculation examination was conducted between April 29 and May 7, 2022. The evaluation process has started from May 21 at 58 evaluation centres. Over 5 lakh students had enrolled for the matriculaton examination this year.

It is pertinent to mention here that the matriculation examination was held in offline mode with strict compliance with the Covid-19 guidelines. The State government had decided to conduct the exam in offline mode after the Centre revoked the provisions of the Disaster Management Act for coronavirus disease (Covid-19) containment measures in view of overall improvement in the situation across the country.
