The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), OdIsha has granted permanent equivalence to Class 10 examinations of four boards with its High School Certificate (HSC) examination.  

The board said the equivalency has been granted on recommendation of the Equivalence sub-committee. 

As per the official notice, the 10th standard/grade 10 examination of North West Accreditation Commission (NWAC), USA has been given equivalency with the Odisha matriculation examination.

Similarly, three other boards are Board of Open Schooling and Skill Education (BOSS), Sikkim, Chhattisgarh State Open School, Raipur (H.S.C. (10th) Examination and Uttarakhand Board of School Education, Ram Nagar, Nainital (High School (10th) Examination.

This will enable the students from schools affiliated to these boards to take admission in schools affiliated to BSE and the certificates will be valid for admission.

Earlier, BSE Odisha had granted equivalence to the SSC/ SSC public examination of BSE, Telengana State/ elengana State Board of Secondary Education with the HSC Examination of BSE, Odisha.
