There are a few blessed ones who are born ‘geniuses’ and achieve great success in life. However, they are not born with silver spoons but work very hard to achieve the goal of their lives. One such inspiring person is IAS Ananya Singh who cracked UPSC at the age of 22 without any coaching, that too in her very first attempt.
Yes, you read that right! Ananya has been a topper all her life. Hailing from Prayagraj, Ananya attended St. Mary’s Convent School and secured 96% in Class 10 and 98.25% in Class 12, making her top her district, a DNA India report stated.
After her Class 12, she went on to achieve her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Delhi University’s Shri Ram College of Commerce. She could have opted for medicine or engineering with her high marks, but it was her childhood dream to become an IAS officer.
Soon after her graduation, she began her UPSC preparation journey. She gave it her best and prepared day and night before her first attempt in 2019. Her hard work paid off and she secured an impressive AIR-51 in her very first attempt when she was only 22.
Speaking about her preparation strategy, Ananya asserted that she focused mainly on writing. Without any compromise, she focused on self-study and studied continuously for 7-8 hours daily. A West Bengal cadre, she is one of the most loved bureaucrats the country has produced.
Apart from being a brilliant mind, she is an avid social media user and is very active on social media. She enjoys massive 43.5K followers on Instagram and often treats her followers with adorable pictures and videos from her day to day life.
