Biometric attendance to resume in all colleges, universities of Odisha from April 18

The Odisha Higher Education department has ordered resumption of the biometric attendance recording system in all universities and colleges coming under it from April 18, 2022. 

Saswat Mishra, Principal Secretary to the Higher Education department has written to the registrars of all State Public Universities and Principals of all government/non-government degree colleges in this regard.   

The biometric system was suspended from January 7, 2022 in view of the Covid pandemic. 

"Biometric attendance recording system which was suspended vide this Letter No.1006 dated 07.01.2022, shall resume from 18.04.2022 for all Higher Education Institutions coming under Higher Education Department," the letter stated.
