AICTE releases academic calendar for 2023-24, classes to begin from Sept 15

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) on Tuesday released the academic calendar for the year 2023-24. Students can check the calendar at the official website of the council i.e. aicte-india.org.

As per the calendar, the last date for admission against vacancies is September 15. The classes for first year students of technical courses should commence on or before September 15.

For technical institutes (not applicable to standalone PGDM/ PGCM institutions), the last date for granting approval or refusal by AICTE is June 10.

The final date of Granting approval after the appeal is June 30. The last date for grant of affiliation by university/ board is July 31 and the last date for cancellation of seats for technical courses with full refund of fees is September 11.

For standalone PGDM/ PGCM institutions, the last date for granting or refusing approval by AICTE is June 10.

The final date for granting approval after appeal is June 30. The last date for cancelling admission for courses in PGDM/ PGCM institutions and getting a full fee refund is September 11.

The last date for admission to courses in PGDM / PGCM institutions is September 15.

For institutions with ODL, online programmes, the last date for grant of approval will be as per the UGC policy. The last Date for Admission to Courses in Open and Distance Learning / Online Learning Mode for the both the sessions will be according to UGC policy.
