AICTE PG (GATE, GPAT) scholarship; check important notice, timeline

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has released an important notice on scholarships.

The AICTE has invited online proposals from approved institutions for disbursement of Post Graduate (PG) Scholarship to students admitted in AICTE approved Institutes/Programs and within approved intake of M.E/ M.Tech./M.Pharm./M.Arch./M.Des through DBT for the first year students of the academic year 2022-23 having qualifying marks with valid GATE/GPAT/CEED score card.

AICTE has asked institutes to upload the eligible PG Students’ details on the AICTE portal on or before December 15, 2022 and distribute Unique ID generated by the system to all the PG students admitted in AICTE approved Institutes/Programs.

Details:

Opening date of portal for creation of student’s ID by the Institutes/ Online submission of application by the student: September 1

Last date for creation of student’s ID by the Institutes/ Online submission of application by the student: November 30, 2022

Last date for verification by the Institute: December 15, 2022

“All students undergoing Post Graduate courses having valid GATE/GPAT/CEED score and admitted in AICTE approved Institutes/Programs and within approved intake shall collect the Unique ID from the institute,” AICTE notice read.

Only Aadhaar active savings bank account will be considered since the PG Scholarship is released through Aadhaar Bridge Payment System (ABPS) mode through Public Financial Management System (PFMS), the notice added.
