2025 JEE Main Odisha topper with 99.98 percentile: 'Aiming for IIT Bombay'
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Session 1 of 2025 today. A total of 14 candidates achieved a perfect score of 100. Meanwhile, Navneet Priyadarshi with rank 26 has topped Odisha.
Speaking exclusively to OTV, Navneet attributed his success to his parents and teachers. He revealed that he would study for 8-9 hours every day without fail.
“I have topped Odisha in JEE Main Session 1 with 99.98 percentile. I’m very happy with my results. Currently, my full focus is on Boards, but I will begin my preparations for Advanced and Session 2 soon,” said an elated Navneet Priyadarshi who has secured AIR-26.
“I would study for 8-9 hours daily for JEE Main. I would give four mock tests every week. I started my preparation from December. My aim is to join computer science at IIT Bombay,” the young talent said.
He further added that his focus was mainly on Mathematics and Physics.
“I would read memorization-based subjects like Chemistry in the morning. My focus in the evening was on subjects like Physics and Mathematics. I owe my success to my parents first and also to my teachers,” Navneet stated.
Worth mentioning, the JEE Main session 1 paper 1 (BE/BTech) exam was conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, with two shifts each day from 9 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm. Paper 2 (BArch/BPlanning) was held on January 30 from 3 pm to 6:30 pm.
