CRPF Jawan run over by train in Rayagada

Rayagada: In an unfortunate incident, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Jawan died after he was run over by a train near Muniguda station of Rayagada district on Monday.

The deceased, identified as Radhakrishnan, was a resident of Kerala and posted at the 8th Battalion here in Muniguda.

Getting information, police rushed to the spot and recovered his body. "Preliminary probe reveals Radhakrishnan intentionally came in front of the train and committed suicide. Further investigation into the matter is on," said a police official.
