Almost 20 days after the death of lady doctor Subhashree Kar, the victim’s father has lodged FIR against her boyfriend Dr. Dibyaranjan Majhi, his relatives and three co-workers at the Joda police station in Keonjhar district.
Deceased Kar’s father Manoranjan said, “We have named Dr. Dibyaranjan Majhi, some of his relatives and three other co-workers and their role should be thoroughly probed. I suspect that someone has spiked the drink of my daughter leading to her death. I am confident of getting justice.”
It is pertinent to mention here that on December 20, 2022 Dr Subhashree Kar, who was posted at Baneikala Primary Health Centre at Joda in Keonjhar district, had lodged a complaint against her boyfriend Dibyaranjan Majhi of betraying her in love. It was alleged that Majhi had kept physical relationship with Subashree on the pretext of marriage and later refused.
The deceased lady doctor, who had celebrated the zero-night with the staff till mid night on new year's eve, was found dead at Joda Health & Wellness Centre in Odisha’s Keonjhar district the next day. The post-mortem report revealed that Subashree died due to poisonous reaction inside her body.
Meanwhile, no comments could be obtained from Dr. Dibyaranjan Majhi on the allegations.
As per latest development, Dibyaranjan Majhi has moved Orissa high Court seeking dissmissal of the case against him.
