Amid the ongoing fight against COVID-19, doorstep delivery of oxygen concentrators was launched in at least five cities of the State including Bhubaneswar.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today kicked off the new initiative to provide oxygen concentrators to Covid patients at their doorstep.
“Glad to launch doorstep delivery of oxygen concentrators in Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Cuttack, Rourkela & Sambalpur. It will give huge respite to people who are looking for oxygen concentrators and strengthen our preparedness against current & future waves of #COVID19,” tweeted Patnaik.

For the service, the State government has reportedly provided 100 oxygen concentrators to the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
The newly appointed BMC Commissioner Sanjay Singh on Saturday informed that the service will start in the Capital City from Monday (June 7).
"The Odisha government has supplied 100 oxygen concentrators to the BMC. We have also developed an App for Covid-infected people who are under home treatment. They can book oxygen concentrators through the Application and the BMC will provide the oxygen concentrators at their homes. The service will be launched on Monday," informed Singh.
