The active cases of coronavirus infection have slipped below 100 mark in Odisha, giving a much-awaited relief to the people.

As per the data shared by the Information and Public Relations department, the State has altogether has 95 active cases now. 

A total of seven new positive cases were detected across the State in the past 24 hours. While four cases were detected in quarantine, remaining three were local contacts.  One of the infected person is in the age group of 0-18 years. 

Khordha district reported highest three cases of Covid infection followed by Sambalpur (2) and Kalahandi (1) and state pool (1). No fatalities have been reported due to the virus. 

Meanwhile, 22 patients have recovered from coronavirus in the past 24 hours taking the total recoveries to 1279105. 

The State has reported as many as 1288379 positive cases since the outbreak of the pandemic. The cumulative tests stand at 31640159.
