Bhubaneswar: The city municipal corporation authorities here has expedited the second dose of Covid vaccination for the beneficiaries under the age category of 18 to 44 years. The third phase of Covid vaccination is continuing in the city since May 3.
As per sources, authorities have permitted walk-in facilities for 2nd dose of Covid vaccination for the 18-44 years age group who have taken their 1st dose from May 3rd to May 14.

In order to streamline the process and alleviate hassles, the BMC has announced that beneficiaries will have to visit the same vaccination centre where he or she had received the first jab at the particular time and date mentioned by the authorities. People will need to produce their provisional vaccination certificate at the mentioned date at the same inoculation centre where they received the first dose.

The BMC has made arrangements for vaccinating the beneficiaries between 8.30 am and 1 pm daily Likewise, a special camp has also been set up to expedite vaccination of frontline workers like journalists.
Bhubaneswar reported 566 new Covid cases and 1231 fresh recoveries on Sunday.
