Royal Enfield has announced the launch of its much-awaited Hunter 350 in the domestic market.

Billed as the most affordable 350 cc motorcycle in the country, Royal Enfield Hunter 350 carries a starting price of Rs. 1,49,900 for Retro and it goes all the way up to Rs. 1,68,900 (ex-showroom, Chennai) for Metro Rebel (Rs. 1,63,900 for Metro).

The difference between Retro and Metro being that the former does not have centre stand. Likewise, Retro variant comes in two colours.

Similarly, Hunter 350 roadster is available in Retro, Metro and Metro Rebel variant. With a kerb weight of 177 kg for base variant, it is also the lightest RE in the market.

It features 17-inch wire-spoked wheels at the front and the rear, single-piece seat, blacked-out side-mounted exhaust system, circular halogen tail lamp, switchgear resembling much like the old classic.

It comes with fuel tank capacity of 13 litres, seat height of 800 mm and the ground clearance at 150.5 mm.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is powered 349 cc OHC air- and oil-cooled four stroke engine which generates power of 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and torque of 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm.

In terms of performance, the makers claim that it has mileage of 36.2 kmpl and can burst at the top speed of 114 kmph.
